Lettuce Trees July 2010

This year I planted dozen lettuce seedlings. They grew and grew, and of course, we could never catch up eating them. We are no rabbits. Anyway, lettuce seedlings grow up to be tree like creatures if left alone. Some of them are even growing yellow flowers on top. Interesting!

I planted a dozen lettuce seedlings this year. They grew and grew, and of course, we could never eat enough lettuce leaves ourselves. Now some of them are growing tall enough to become lettuce tree like creatures. I noticed some of them have yellow flowers growing on top. Interesting!
